Cabbage manchurian with step by step pics. Now a days manchurian is very famous all around as street food and kids friendly snack. Today I am posting dry version of cabbage manchurian. We can have this as starter or as side dish for fried rice, veg pulaos. If you do not like sauce taste, you can have it as pokada too.Instead of maida I used rice flour and corn flour to prepare this cabbage manchurian balls. And used tomato sauce, green chilli and soya sauces to prepare manchurian sauce.

Note
◆ You can use Maida instead of rice flour along with corn flour.
◆ Add salt accordingly while mixing cabbage dough as we already added salt starting.
◆ You can add vinegar, tomato ketchup while preparing sauce.
◆ Adjust chilli sauce in the sauce as per your taste
Tips
● Serve cabbage manchurian immediately after preparing otherwise cabbage balls become soft.
● Fry cabbage balls on low flames so that cabbage balls fry crispy and cook well inside. If you fry it on high flames it will change color immediately but it wont cook inside.
● As there is salt in sauces adjust salt while adding in sauce.

ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful snack idea using simple ingredients. I now know what my mistake was whenever I was trying to make veg Manchurian. I didn't squeeze out the water from the cabbage. I'll remember that next time I make them. Love the dry Manchurian rather than the one with sauce.
ReplyDeleteWow good website, thank you.
