Pineapple kesari bhat, Pineapple sheera, How to prepare pineapple keasri bath

Kesari bhat is one of the famous sweet recipe in South Indian sweets which is prepared in marriages and in any small functions at home. It is served as sweet for meals in hotels. It is also known as sheera and halwa in different places. Today I am posting Pineapple kesari bhat which is prepared using fresh pineapple pieces along with sooji/semolina, ghee, sugar and dry fruits. We can also add Saffron  to get good color. 



  We can prepare this pineapple kesari easily with few ingredients. We can offer this as prasdam on festivals. In order to get good color we can add yellow food color but I did not added I like the natural color and flavour this sweet 😊. Adding more ghee adds more taste to this sweet 😋.

                  Pineapple Sheera

Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cook Time : 15  minutes

Ingredients 

Pineapple - 1 cup
Medium sooji/semolina - 1 cup
Water - 2 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 3/4 to 1 cup
Elachi powder - a big pinch
Cashew nuts - 10
Raisins- 10
Saffron - a pinch( I did not added)/ i added it in my youtube video check out

Instructions 

1) Deskin pineapple and cut into pieces. 



2) Take a pan add 3 tsp of ghee fry cashew nuts and raisins till it changes color and raisins become fluffy and take it into plate. 



3) Now add sooji to the same pan fry till it changes color and gets nice aroma then take it into plate. You can add more ghee while frying sooji/semolina. 



4) Now add 1 tsp of ghee to the same pan, add pineapple pieces and fry it on low flames till it becomes bit smooth. 



5) Now add sugar mix everything well cook for a second on low flames. 



6) Now add water and mix everything well once. 



7) Let the water boil add big pinch of elachi powder. 




8) Now add Semolina/sooji with one hand and mix it with other hand. 



9) Stir continuously so that sooji will mix well without any lumps. 


10) Add 2 to 4 tsp of ghee mix everything well, close the lid and cook it on low flame. 



11) Open the lid, now mix everything once. Add some more ghee and fried cashew nuts, raisins to the above and mix everything well. 



Yummy, tasty and pineapple flavored Kesari bhat is ready to serve😋😋. 



Note

◆ You can use tin pineapple too. 

Adjust sweet as per your taste. 

   you can also half part of pineapple paste and half part of pieces to get more pineapple flavour.

Tips

● For good dessert taste, keep halwa in fridge and have it. 

● You can also add sugar after adding sooji too. 

● Adding good quantity of ghee will gives you best taste. 

● Stir continuously while adding sooji/rava otherwise it will form lumps. 

 You can have 4-5 days by keeping it in refridgerator.


● Cut the pineapple from inside instead of deskin and then serve pineapple in it, you will good flavour and feel 😍.
