Paneer Pinwheels, How to prepare paneer pinwheels

Today is last day of 2018, hope you all spent good time this year. Pray for extra more happy, health and fun will reach you all for new year 😍😍.  New year coming, friends, relatives will come home something tasty we need to prepare quickly and enjoy time with them. Here we go with quick and easy savory Paneer pinwheels.  It is very easy to prepare and taste yummy for tea time and kitty parties. Kids will love this as evening snacks. 




     I used wheat flour to prepare base as we can also use maida. Grated paneer is the main ingredient which adds taste to the pinwheels. It taste crispy as we deep fry in oil or we can also bake it in oven. Try this delicious appetizer recipe and enjoy your day. I prepared this Paneer Pinwheels for Theme_savory contest in #VegFoodies fb group. 

               Paneer Pinwheels

Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cook Time : 15  minutes

Ingredients

For dough

Wheat flour - 1 cup
Salt  a pinch
Ajwain - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1 tsp

For  filling


Paneer - 100 gm

Carrot - 1 
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Chat masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Oil to deep fry

For binding 

Corn flour - 1 tsp
Or Rava/semolina - 2 tsp

Instructions

1)  Take a bowl add wheat flour, salt, Ajwain seeds and oil.



2)  Mix everything well add water mix it well and prepare smooth dough. Close wet cloth on dough and keep it aside for 20 - 30 min. 



3) Mean while grate paneer and carrot add salt, red chilli powder, coriander, cumin powders and chat masala powder to the grated ingredients, mix it gently. 



4)  Knead dough once and divide into 2 portions and prepare chapathi by dusting flour on flat surface. 



5) Dust good amount of flour under chapathi and spread above masala mixture. 


6) Now start rolling chapathi tightly as shown below. 



 7) Repeat the process, roll it tightly and press the corners. 



8) Now cut the corners to get good shape and press the edges. 





 9) Cut the rolls into circles. 



10) Press the circle in middle to get round shape. Do not press hardly. 



11)  Take a Kadai add oil to deep fry and let it heat, meanwhile take 1 tsp of corn flour in a cup add water mix it well. 



12) Now deep the pinwheels in the above mixture and drop it in oil. 

*** If you do not have cornflour then use rava. Dust some sujji on surface and press the pinwheel on it smoothly both sides. Or you can also mix  maida  in water and dip the pinwheel. 

13) Fry it on medium - low flames till paneer pinwheels turns color bothsides and become crunchy. 



14) Repeat the process for remaining pinwheels and take it into plate or on tissue paper. 

Yummy, tasty and crunchy Paneer pinwheels are ready to serve. Serve it when warm with tomato ketchup and enjoy ur snack with your loved once😍😍. 



Note

◆ You can use maida instead of wheat flour. 

◆ You can skip adding carrot too. 

 Tips

 ● Instead deep fry in oil you can also bake it in oven. 

 ●If paneer is too smooth you cannot great it. 

● Do not  forgot to dust surface before spreading filling on chapathi. Otherwise it will stick to surface. 

● Roll the chapathi tightly otherwise filling will come out while frying.

Pineapple kesari bhat, Pineapple sheera, How to prepare pineapple keasri bath

Kesari bhat is one of the famous sweet recipe in South Indian sweets which is prepared in marriages and in any small functions at home. It is served as sweet for meals in hotels. It is also known as sheera and halwa in different places. Today I am posting Pineapple kesari bhat which is prepared using fresh pineapple pieces along with sooji/semolina, ghee, sugar and dry fruits. We can also add Saffron  to get good color. 



  We can prepare this pineapple kesari easily with few ingredients. We can offer this as prasdam on festivals. In order to get good color we can add yellow food color but I did not added I like the natural color and flavour this sweet 😊. Adding more ghee adds more taste to this sweet 😋.



Let's start recipe... 
                  
                  Pineapple Sheera

Preparation Time : 10 minutes
Cook Time : 15  minutes
Serves : 5

Main ingredients : Pineapple, 
                                     Medium rava

Ingredients 

Pineapple - 1 cup
Medium sooji/semolina - 1 cup
Water - 2 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 3/4 to 1 cup
Elachi powder - a big pinch
Cashew nuts - 10
Raisins- 10
Saffron - a pinch( I did not added)/ i added it in my youtube video check out

Instructions 

1) Deskin pineapple and cut into pieces. 



2) Take a pan add 3 tsp of ghee fry cashew nuts and raisins till it changes color and raisins become fluffy and take it into plate. 



3) Now add sooji to the same pan fry till it changes color and gets nice aroma then take it into plate. You can add more ghee while frying sooji/semolina. 



4) Now add 1 tsp of ghee to the same pan, add pineapple pieces and fry it on low flames till it becomes bit smooth. 



5) Now add sugar mix everything well cook for a second on low flames. 



6) Now add water and mix everything well once. 



7) Let the water boil add big pinch of elachi powder. 




8) Now add Semolina/sooji with one hand and mix it with other hand. 



9) Stir continuously so that sooji will mix well without any lumps. 


10) Add 2 to 4 tsp of ghee mix everything well, close the lid and cook it on low flame. 



11) Open the lid, now mix everything once. Add some more ghee and fried cashew nuts, raisins to the above and mix everything well. 



Yummy, tasty and pineapple flavored Kesari bhat is ready to serve😋😋. 



Note

◆ You can use tin pineapple too. 

Adjust sweet as per your taste. 

   you can also half part of pineapple paste and half part of pieces to get more pineapple flavour.

Tips

● For good dessert taste, keep halwa in fridge and have it. 

● You can also add sugar after adding sooji too. 

● Adding good quantity of ghee will gives you best taste. 

● Stir continuously while adding sooji/rava otherwise it will form lumps. 

 You can have 4-5 days by keeping it in refridgerator.


● Cut the pineapple from inside instead of deskin and then serve pineapple in it, you will good flavour and feel 😍.

Pomegranate Raita, Anar ka Raita ,How to make Pomegranate Raita

Pomegranate Raita is sweet, spicy and fruity raita prepared using fresh curd, pomegranate arils and some spices which adds good taste to the Raita. I love this pomegranate raita because of its sweet, spicy and and fruity taste and it easy to prepare.

 Using fresh thick curd is preferred. Adding onion to the raita gives good crunchy taste to it. If you are planning to prepare this Raita on vrats then skip adding onions. Adding cucumber to the raita gives good refreshing taste to it. Coming to spices we add roasted cumin seeds powder and pepper powder along with little red chilli powder and finely grated green chilli which adds spicy to the Raita. 

 
                                            

        I regularly prepare this Raita as accompaniment to veg pulao's, pulkas. Recently I prepared this pomegranate raita for peas pulao. Many of my friends requested to post this Raita recipe, here I am posting 😍. 

           Pomegranate Raita 

Preparation Time : 15 minutes
Cook Time : 0 minutes
Serves : 1 big cup
Category : Raita
Recipe Cuisine: Indian
Main ingredients : Pomegranate,
                                     Curd

Ingredients
(adjust spices accordingly)
Curd - 1 cup
Pomegranate arils(seeds) - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1(finely chopped)
Cucumber - 1/2(finely chopped)
Green chilli - 1(finely chopped)
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Roasted cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
Coriander leaves - 2 tsp(finely chopped)


Instructions

1) At first finely chop onions, cucumber green chilli, coriander leaves and remove pomegranate arils and keep it ready. 


2) Take thick yogurt into bowl and Whisk it well without any lumps. 


3) Add red chilli powder, salt, pepper and cumin powder to the whisked curd and mix everything well. 



4)  Add finely chopped veggies, pomegranate arils and mix it well. (Keep some chopped veggies aside for garnishing)



5) Take 2 tsp of pomegranate arils in a cup, mash it well till you get juice. Then add its juice in curd and mix well.

6)Mix everything well, If you want you can keep it in refrigerator for chilling. 


Healthy, tasty and fruity pomegranate raita is ready garnish it with remaining veggies and serve 😋😋.

Note

◆ If you are preparing this Raita for vrats skip adding onions. 

◆ Add spices according to your taste. 

Tips

● If you are planning this Raita for any parties then have to cool for good taste. 

● Use fresh and thick curd for good texture and taste. 

●  You can also use canned pomegranate to prepare this raita but it is preferred to use fresh pomegranate arils. 

● Chop onion, cucumber, green chilli and coriander leaves finely.
