 Cauliflower Pakora || Gobi Pakoda || Gobi fritters with step by step pics. It is very tasty, quick and easy version fritter recipe, we can have it as tea time snack, as side dish for lunch. This pakora taste crispy outside and smooth inside. We can prepare this gobi pakora in different ways. We can also prepare these pakora's crispy both inside & outside and by marinating cauliflower florets. As I am sharing instant version gobi pakora I am not marinating cauliflower florets. This is my mom's recipe, which is expert in preparing Onion bajji/ choor pujji / pugyalluUggani/ bajjistuffed mirchi bajji.

                        Gobi Pakoda 

Preparation time  - 10 minutes
cook Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 2 cup fritters

Ingredients 

Cauliflower florets - 1 cups
chickpea flour / besan / senaga pindi - 1/2 cup
rice flour - 2 tsp
red chilli powder - 1 tsp
carom seeds / ajwain - 1 tsp
turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp 
cooking soda - 1 pinch
oil - 1 tsp + to deep fry 
salt - as per taste

Instructions

1) Boil cauliflower florets in water by adding turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp salt for 2 minutes on high flames. Later strain water and keep it aside.  ** Do not boil long time or you can soak cauliflower florets in hot water for some time.






2) Heat oil in low flames.
Add besan, rice flour, salt, turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder, ajwain seeds, cooking soda. Mix  everything well, then  prepare thick batter by adding some water.

 


3) Add 1 tsp of hot oil to above batter and mix well.  Drop some boiled cauliflower florets in batter coat it well and drop in oil. fry it both side till it changes color. 

 



4) Take fried pakora's into plate and repeat the same process for remaining cauliflower florets.

                                                           

That's it our gobi pakora's are ready to serve. You can serve it with any chutney's or with tomato ketchup.
