Drumstick Rasam, How to prepare drumstick rasam using homemade rasam powder

Rasam is also called charu in Telugu, saaru in kannada prepared using tamarind pulp, tomato and with rasam powder. Veggie which we can add in rasam is drumstick. Drumsticks cooked along with tomato and tamarind juice gives good sour taste. Today I am using Homemade Rasam powder which is very flavourful and tasty.  I used boiled toor dal in this drumstick rasam which makes rasam so tasty and healthy.

Today i had drumstick rasam with rice, boiled toor dal, Ghee/mudda pappu and neyyi(in telugu).  Rasam is must in South Indian meals, and that too drumstick rasam is very tasty. My dad loves to drink rasam, it cures cough, cold and makes  digestive system free. As the spices used in rasam powder, we can prepare rasam powder freshly while preparing rasam.

Wheat flour ladoo using left over milk solids of ghee

Today's recipe is given by my mom. I use to prepare this ladoo's regularly whenever I prepare ghee. Many of us throw the left over milk solids of ghee but I prepare ladoo's by adding wheat flour and badam in it. Trust me it is very tasty with crunchy of milk solids and sugar. We can also use powdered jaggery instead of sugar and also add cashew nuts to make it more healthy and tasty. While browsing in google I saw many recipes like sujji ka halwa and lots more are prepared using with this milk solids of ghee. But I thought to share the recipe which I use to prepare regularly. Point to remember that milk solids not be burnt and Methi seeds or any otherthing must not be added in it. Otherwise we do not get the perfect taste of ladoo's.
