Carrot Rice, Simple and healthy Carrot Rice, One pot carrot rice

Carrot Rice is one of the rice varieties prepared easily which is very tasty and healthy.  Kids do not like to eat carrot or carrot curries then just prepare this and pack for lunch box they will enjoy it. It is one pot recipe we can prepare it for kitty parties and for journey's as it is easy to prepare and very tasty. If you are lazy to prepare food on weekends but  still want to have  some yummy food then no doubt this carrot rice is the best option 🤗.

We can have it with any plain raita or  Pomegranate raita or any paneer curries. I had it with malai matar panner(upcoming recipe). As its winter season we will get peas/matar so we can add fresh matar in this carrot rice. If matar/Battani not available you can just skip it.   We can also prepare this using left over rice too. But it tastes good when rice is cooked freshly in spices. Today I prepared carrot rice by using sona masuri rice. I added biryani & garam masala powders to give it biryani/pulao flavour to make it tasty😋.

I had this carrot rice with tasty and delicious malia matar paneer 😋😋. Hope you liked this simple and easy carrot rice recipe, enjoy this healthy rice with your loved ones 💞❤️.

Note

* You can skip adding peas if not available.

* You can also use basmathi rice to make more flavourful.

* You can also prepare it with left over rice too.

* You can also add ginger garlic paste while frying onions.

*Instead of grating  carrot you can also chop it into small pieces.

Tips

** If you are frozen pead then no need to cook it separately. You can add it after frying onions.

** If you are using fresh peas/matar you must cook it first and then add in carrot mixture. Otherwise peas Donot cook well.

** Adding biryani and garam masala powders gives you good flavours to the rice. If you are not interested just skip it and add red chilli and coriander powder.

** Rice must be cooked fluffy, so that each grain of rice is separate.
