Today's recipe Ragi drumstick leaf Thalipeeth using grated carrot which is very tasty and healthy. It is also known as Ragi pindi munagakku rotte in Telugu, Ragi muranga keerai adai in Tamil and Ragi nugge yele Thalipeeth in kannada. Thalipittu / Thalipeeth is famous Karnataka breakfast. It is very crispy, tasty power packed with lots of minerals, proteins. We can have it with any pickles or chutney's or simply with curd. I love to have it with hung curd 😋. We can also have it as evening snacks for kids after coming home.
The ingredients like drumstick leafs, grated carrot.. which we add in it are all healthy. We also add fresh grated coconut or small coconut pieces which adds good crunchy taste to thalipittu and also good for health. Adding grated carrot is optional but to make it protein rich I add it.
