Dry fruits lassi - 3 different varieties of dry fruit lassi with step by step pics. Hi friends, how are you all? hope and pray everyone is safe and healthy. Please stay at home, stay hygiene, eat healthy food to increase your immunity system, follow all health tips to stay happy. Today i am sharing easy peasy 3 different varieties of dry fruit lassi with one basic dry fruits lassi. The 3 varieties which i am sharing are using mixed fruits, saffron flavor and chocolate flavor. At first i thought to share simple dry fruit lassi but hubby asked that he want  lassi in chocolate or any different flavors, so on demand i prepared these 3 varieties of lassi with basic dry fruit lassi. Use fresh and thick curd to get good taste and creamy texture. For basic dry fruit lassi i used cashews, almonds,raisins, chironji and pista, you can use dry fruits as per your availability. For mixed fruits lassi i used orange, sapota, apple, green grapes,pomegranate. For saffron flavor lassi i soaked saffron in warm milk. For chocolate flavor lassi i used hershey's chocolate syrup and choco chips for garnishing. check out some beverages  Sabja masala buttermilk, Mango lassiMango FaloodaMango mastaniDates and banana smoothiemusk melon milk shake/ kharbuja milk shake.

                                                              Dry Fruits Lassi 

Preparation time - 15 minutes
Serves : 2 glasses

Main ingredients : fresh curd

Ingredients

Fresh curd - 4 cups
cashew nuts - 10 +2 for garnishing
almonds - 10+2
pista - 5+2
chironji / sara pappu - 1 tsp
mixed fruits - 1 small cup(apple, pomegranate, grapes, orange, sapota)
saffron - 1/4 tsp
milk - 2 tsp
hershey chocolate syrup - 1/2 cup
choco chips - 1 tsp
sugar / brown sugar - as per taste

Instructions

To prepare basic dry fruit lassi

1)  soak dry fruits in little hot water for 2 to 3 hours.



2) In a mixer jar add soaked nuts with water, brown sugar/sugar grind it coarsely smooth paste. Then add thick and fresh yogurt to it and grind till you get good foam.







Mixed fruit dry fruit lassi

Chop all apple, orange,grapes, sapota into pieces, remove pomegranate arils/seeds and keep it aside. Take a serving glass add chopped fruits then pour prepared dry fruit lassi and then garnish with finely chopped fruits. 




Saffron dry fruit lassi

soak saffron in hot milk then add it in prepared dry fruit lassi grind it once. pour it in a serving glass garnish it with chopped nuts and saffron,pic missing :(





Chocolate dry fruit lassi

Add chocolate syrup in dry fruit lassi and grind it once. Take it in serving bowl garnish it with choco chips and chocolate syrup.



That's it our 3 different varieties dry fruit lassi is ready to serve.







Tips

** Use fresh and thick curd / yogurt

** you can use any sugar variety or honey, taste vary.

** make sure all fruits are fresh and sweet in taste.

** instead of chocolate syrup you can use chocolate powder.

** Soaking dry fruits will gives you thick texture to lassi.

Karivepaku Pachadi || Curry Leaves Chutney

Curry leaves chutney || Karivepaku pachadi with step by step pics and tips. Curry leaves is one of the main ingredient used in South Indian. Chutney's plays main role in South Indian cuisine and it taste different in different houses. Curry leaves chutney can be prepared in different ways, today i am sharing the recipe which we prepare regularly at home. It is NoOnion-NoGarlic chutney variety, so that we can have on vrats too. Curry leaves is one that ingredient which makes any recipe flavorful and tasty, but at the same time it is most hated one many one of us just remove and throw it. Tip: chop curry leaves finely while adding in any dish😊. It became my favorite when it is not available when we are in Khurda Road 😂. curry leaves podi / karivepaku podi is prepared using curry leaves which is very tasty and very handy which saves your day when you have nothing to prepare. karivepaku podi annam  is very easy and tasty rice variety prepared using curry leaves podi.

                 Karivepaku Pachadi

Preparation time - 5 minutes
cook Time : 15 minutes
Serves : 1 small cup
Category : Chutney
Recipe Cuisine: South Indian 
Main ingredients : Curry leaves

Ingredients

Curry  leaves - 1 cup
oil - 1 tsp
coriander seeds - 1 tsp
mustard & cumin seeds - 1 tsp
urad dal - 2 tsp
peppercorns -2 (optional)
tamarind - small lemon size
red chillies - 5
jaggery - a pinch
salt as per taste

for tempering


oil - 1 tsp

mustard & cumin seeds - 3/4 tsp
red chilli - 1
curry leaves - 4hing - 1 pinch

Instructions

1) Wash curry leaves well in water 2 to 3 times or till it becomes clean. Tap washed curry leaves with dry cloth and keep it aside.


2) Heat oil in kadai, add coriander seeds and fry well when it starts changing color add mustard and cumin seeds.




3) Now add urad dal, peppercorns fry it well, when it starts changing color add red chilli and washed tamarind fry well.




4) Add curry leaves to the above fry well, switch off the flames and let it cool. Take the above in mixer jar add salt, jaggery mix it first without adding water. Later add some water and grind it coarsely. 





5) Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds when it starts crackling add cumin seeds, curry leaves fry well then add red chilli and hing fry well. Then add above chutney in oil and mix everything well.



That's it tasty and aromatic karivepaku pachadi is ready, we had this chutney with hot steamed rice and dollop of ghee.



Tips

** Adjust red chillies as per your taste and as per it's spicy taste.

** You can also add garlic while frying chillies.

** You can also add fried ground nuts and sesame seeds, but taste may vary when you these.
