Today i am sharing kids favorite recipe pasta prepared using homemade tomato sauce. Surely your kids will love to this and never no to it. I used bambino wheat spiral pasta to prepare this with available veggies at home. I used carrot and capsicum we can also add sweet corn, peas in it. Herbs are not available right now so i skipped it & only cheese spread is available at home so i used it instead of parmesan cheese. Trust me it tasted very yummy, cheese and lip smacking.

                             Vangi bath masala powder

Preparation time - 30 minutes
Serves : 4
Category : International / kids friendly / breakfast /snack

Main ingredients : pasta, tomato

Ingredients

wheat spiral pasta - 200gms
tomatoes - 3
red chilli - 1
butter - 2 tsp
garlic - 4
onion - 1
carrot - 1
capsicum - 1(small)
red chilli flakes - 1 tsp
black pepper powder - 1 tsp
tomato ketchup - 2 big spoons(adjust)
Italian herbs - 1 tsp(i did not used)
cheese - 3 to 4 tsp( i used 1 small cup cheese spread)
salt as per taste

Instructions

1) Cut tomato in X shape and boil it in water along with red chilli for 5 minutes.

2) Once it is cool peel tomato skin and blend it into puree.(**check tips)

3) Boil 1 and 1/2 to 2 liters of water with salt and oil, then add pasta in it.

4) Cook pasta till became smooth and cut easily with spoon.

5) drain water from pasta and keep it aside, used drain water in sauce preparation.

6) Heat butter in a pan add chopped garlic pieces fry till it changes it color.

7) Now add onions fry for few seconds then add chopped carrot and capsicum pieces. Do not overcook veggies, now add tomato puree cook everything well for 2 minutes.

8) Now add red chilli flakes, pepper powder and herbs(u can skip if not available) mix everything well.

9) Add some pasta cooked water to the above as per your consistency and cook it for few minutes, our red sauce is ready.

10) Now add boiled pasta in the above red sauce, mix everything well and cook it for few minutes.

11) At last add parmesan cheese or grated cheese cubes or any cheese of your choice.

That's it very yummy, creamy and lip smacking pasta in red sauce is ready to serve, serve hot and enjoy with family 😍.

Tips

** If you want pasta more spicy boil red chillies with tomatoes, it will had spicy to your pasta.

** As both herbs is it available at this time i did not added, if it is available at your you can add it, to get good flavors and taste in pasta.

** Do not overcook pasta, you can also skip adding veggies.

** Add cheese before serving on hot pasta.

Vangi bath masala powder || Karnataka Style vangi bath masala powder with step by step pics and tips. Hai friends how are you all? hope everyone safe, healthy and staying at home. Today's recipe is vangi bath masala powder which is used to prepare tasty and flavorful rice item by adding brinjal called vangibath. It is Karnataka special rice item sured as breakfast, lunch or even for lunch box. Prepare this vangi bath masala powder once store it airtight container and use it to prepare vangi bath easily. Masala powders that are prepared at home are always have unique taste. You can also use this vangi bath masala powder in different palya / curry recipes too. I always have some powders like 
** karivepaku podi / curry leaf powder,
** kakarakaya podi / bittergourd chutney powder
**milaga podi for breakfast
**  andhra kobbari karam podi / spicy coconut powder
**peanuts powder / pallila podi

 handy, so  that i can prepare rice items like karivepaku podi annam using these powders/podi or can have it with breakfast. Almost in all South Indian house we will find their signature podi recipes and masala powders with unique taste. It is very easy to prepare vangibath if this masala powder is ready. If you are kids are staying in rooms? just pack this masala powders to them so that they prepare vangibath easily. It also helps to bachelors and working women who are always in hurry. I bookmarked many of her many recipes to try, in that pistachio coated dry fruits seeds ball is my favorite. Also liked her latest steamed eggplant chinese style recipe, which is very tempting, also check her today's kundapur masala powder.



                               

  


                             Vangi bath masala powder

Preparation time - 20 minutes
Serves : 1 cup
Category : Powder / Podi
Recipe Cuisine: Indian 
Main ingredients : dals

Ingredients

Coriander seeds - 2 tsp
urad dal -2 tsp
chana dal -2 tsp
fenugreek seeds  - 1/8 tsp
red chilli - 10
poppy seeds - 1 tsp
dry coconut - 1/2 cup
cloves - 4
cinnamon stick - 1/2 inch
elachi -2 
oil - 1 tsp



Instructions

1) Take a wide pan add oil, add red chillies fry till they changes colors take it into plate.



2) Now add urad and chana dal in the same pan, fry on low to medium flames. When it starts changing color add coriander seeds fry everything well till you get nice aroma. Later add all remaining ingredients mentioned in list fry it well.

3) Let the above cool to room temperature, then take it mixer jar. 



4) Grind the above ingredients to fine powder , take it into plate and let it cool.



That's it our Karnataka special vangi bath masala powder is ready. Store it in clean and airtight container.

                         

Tips


** Fry all ingredients on low to medium flames, do not burn it and make sure that everything fried well.

** You can also add jaggery powder while grinding.

** Always store masala powders in clean, dry and airtight containers.

Sapota Milkshake || Chikoo Milkshake recipe

Sapota milkshake || Chikoo milkshake with step by step pics and tips. Hi friends how are you all doing? Hope you all are staying at home and safe. Keep yourself hygiene and eat healthy food that increase your immunity system. Chikoo / Sapota milkshake is very easy peasy health drink, it is very creamy and thick milkshake with natural flavors of sapota. We can serve it with or without ice cream, as it is very creamy we can just serve it chilled. I added soaked almonds which is not only tasty but also very healthy and also adds thick creamy texture to milkshake. Adding chocochips make kids to have it without fail 😍. I love to add freshly scraped coconut while garnishing, as coconut is not available right now i just skipped it. Instead of sugar i used brown sugar, taste vary when you use sugar. 





  


                                 Sapota MilkShake

Soak time - 2 hrs
Preparation time - 15 minutes
Serves: 2 glasses
Category : Beverage 
Recipe Cuisine: Indian 
Main ingredients : Sapota

Ingredients

Sapota / chikoo - 6
cold milk - 2 glasses
soaked almonds - 10 to 12
Brown sugar / sugar - 2 tsp(adjust)

To garnish

almonds - 4
chocolate chips - 1 tsp
sapota pieces - 1/2 cup

Instructions

1) Soak almonds for minimum 2 hrs and peel its skin.

2)Take ripped sapotas , wash it under water, cut it in middle and remove seeds. Scoop sapota with the help of spoon and take it into plate.





3) Add boiled and chilled milk in a mixer jar add sugar / brown sugar / coconut sugar. Add soaked almonds and sapota pieces in milk and blend it.





4) Blend the above till you get creamy texture.


 5) Take above milkshake into serving glasses, add sapota pieces grated almond and sprinkle some choco chips. You can also add vanilla ice cream on top.



That's it our tropical fruit sapota milkshake is ready to serve, serve chilled and enjoy your day.

Tips

** You can also add vanilla extract while blending milkshake.


** Adjust sweetness accordingly.

** You can skip garnishing choco chips or can add grate any cadbury or compound chocolate.
