Today's recipe is a simple and tasty gobi matar dry fry. Kids love gobi alot, try this easy gobi matar fry for lunch box they will like it. Today's recipe comes under No Onion No Garlic category. So we can it on vrats with Roti's. We can have this dry gobi matar fry with pulkas, as side dish for dal rice or rasam rice. My hubby like to have it curd rice 😍. I used fresh and tender matar which I stored in air tight container. You can also use frozen matar/ green Peas. If you are planning to use dry green Peas then you have to soak it and cook it separately in pressure cooker. As I used fresh and tender Peas I am not boiling it, I am directly frying it in oil. It gives cripsy taste to matar.

Jeera Rice, no onion, no garlic jeera rice, How to prepare Jeera rice.

Today's recipe jeera rice is one pot rice dish, which can be prepared easily in jiffy. Jeera rice is aromatic, fluffy and very tasty. Generally jeera rice is prepared with long grain basmathi rice, jeera/cumin seeds, some basic spices and  ghee. We can also prepare with normal rice or even with left over rice using vegetable oil too.

Check this jeera rice in my youtube channel

When you are planning to prepare any heavy curries, dal recipes then jeera rice goes well with that. Also we can pack it for lunch box, it taste aromatic and tasty without any side dish too.

Today's recipe comes under no onion, no garlic catogery.
Though there is no limit for adding onion and garlic, we can prepare Jeera rice in many variations and in many ways accordingly. Like first prepare rice and then prepare Jeera rice or by directly cooking rice with jeera and spices. We can prepare it in pressure cooker or in Kadai. We can also add veggies like carrot, beans to make jeera pulao. As you are all familiar whenever I plan paneer dishes I prefer to prepare simple pulao like peas pulaoCarrot rice. Today I had jeera rice with one of my fav paneer recipe that is panner lababdar(will post soon).

** After cooking rest the jeera rice for 5 to 10 so that rice will e fluffy.

**If you want cook basmati rice pressure cooker then cook for 2 whistles.

** If you want to use normal rice then cook for 3 whistles.
